ok I’m gonna ruin Fair Play for you: that Luke guy is a fucking menace. him festering in his pseudo self help bullshit to wrestle back some of the superiority he lost after losing that promotion? sickening. just hard to watch. at some point in the middle there, i thought he was actively sabotaging her career so he could be seen in a better light by comparison, but he’s literally just that mediocre. couldn’t believe i gave him that much credit. a dramatization of the very real ways women will try to salvage a relationship they’ve clearly outgrown. and desperately too. hate that last bathroom scene, but I’m ok with how it ended.
